Pay a bill
MyChart allows you to pay your medical bills online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The “pay as a guest” feature allows spouses, family members, and other individuals to make online payments on behalf of Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster patients.
You can access your MyChart account 24/7 to manage many billing tasks online, including:
- Viewing statements
- Sending messages to the billing team
- Making one-time payments
- Establishing payment plans
- Paying your bill online

No, MyChart is a free service offered to Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster patients.
Your normal test and X-ray results are released to your MyChart account immediately after they are reported by the lab. Advanced imaging results are released to MyChart after your doctor has reviewed them.
Tests of a very sensitive nature are not released to MyChart.
Your MyChart information comes directly from your electronic medical record at your doctor’s office. Please contact your doctor’s office to correct any inaccurate information.
You will generally receive an answer within one to two business days. MyChart should not be used for urgent situations. Please contact your doctor’s office if the situation requires prompt attention or call 911 if it is an emergency.
An adult patient must grant permission to another adult to view their health record in MyChart. Parents and guardians do not need consent to view a minor’s MyChart record. In MyChart, this permission is called proxy access and allows a person to log into their personal MyChart account and then connect to information regarding their family member. In order to get this access, your family member must fill out the proxy consent form within MyChart by clicking on the option “Grant an adult access to your record.” In order to view a minor’s MyChart, the parent or guardian would use their own MyChart account to “Request to Access a Minor’s Record.”
Privacy laws prevent us from communicating with you about a family member’s health condition without their written consent. To obtain access to a family member’s MyChart account, please have them fill out the proxy consent form within MyChart by clicking on the option labeled “Grant an adult access to your record.”
No, each adult must have their own MyChart account.
We take great care to ensure your health information is kept private and secure. Access to information is controlled through passwords, secure activation codes, and personal usernames. Each person controls their password, and the account cannot be accessed without that password. Unlike conventional email, all MyChart messaging is done while you are securely logged in to our website.
In order to use MyChart, you need access to a computer or device with an up-to-date browser, such as Chrome or Edge.
MyChart is owned and operated by Epic. It is fully compliant with federal and state laws pertaining to your privacy. Your name and email address will be treated with the same care and privacy given your health records. It will never be sold or leased by Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster MyChart®, Epic®, Powered by Epic™, and the MyChart logo are trademarks of Epic Systems Corporation.
