My Comeback Story: Tad B.

Tad

I was involved in a motorcycle accident where a person turned in front of me on September 4th, 2024. I had a compound fracture of tibia and fibula, an open book pelvis fracture, rotator cuff torn off shoulder blade, and a dislocated shoulder, along with 11 broken ribs. On the day of the accident, Dr. Clyde reattached 3 arteries in my ankle and reconstructed my leg using a fixator. The second night, Dr. Casey removed the pelvic binder and put plates in my pelvis. 2 weeks later, Dr Casey removed the fixator on my leg and put rods, pins, screws, and plates in my leg. One week after that, Dr. Stabile repaired my shoulder. Needless to say, I had four surgeries in three weeks performed by very talented Doctors! (Clyde, Casey, and Stabile) Their resilience in repairing my body was second to none. All of them have a great bedside manner, and I never felt rushed when discussing my health with them. I have followed up over the past 15 months with Dr. Casey and will have some of the ankle hardware removed to increase my mobility. I did 72 physical therapy sessions and can walk without a limp, played golf, throw the ball for the dog every day, back to getting on the treadmill and lifting weights, and even got out hunting in archery this year. I would not have been able to get my life back to near normal without the tremendous skill and dedication of the 3 tremendous surgeons who treated me! I am forever indebted to these fine folks, as they never gave up on me!! Myself and My Family are forever grateful!
