My Comeback Story: JoAnn G.

I was treated for arthritis in my left shoulder and both knees with injections until they were no longer effective. In spring 2022, Dr Rodgers performed a left total shoulder replacement. After 13 weeks of PT with Makenzie at the Nook, I have a full range of motion and no pain!!! In the spring of 2024, Dr. Rodgers performed total knee replacements on my right and then left knees. I worked with Andrew in PT, also at the Nook, for 7- 8 weeks after each. In 2023, I was jumping waves in the Gulf at 8 weeks. I ride my bike every day, do water aerobics twice a week, and walk all pain-free!!! Dr. Rodgers has a wonderful bedside manner. He listens to his patients and explains everything. He is so kind, and I cannot thank him enough for improving my quality of life. I continue to see him for other areas of arthritis as needed!!! I have recommended OAL and Dr. Rodgers to many of my friends.
