Orthopedic Urgent Care at OAL

Orthopedic Urgent Care at OAL

Why Choose Urgent Care?

  • Avoid the trip to the emergency room

  • Get treatment for your pain right away

  • The cost is typically less than an emergency room visit, and most insurance plans are accepted

  • No appointment necessary

What To Expect at Orthopedic Urgent Care at OAL

At Urgent Care at OAL, a physician assistant will examine you, order x-rays if needed, provide a diagnosis and treat your specific orthopedic injury. If the physician assistant determines that a physician is needed for your issue, you will receive an expedited appointment with an orthopedic surgeon at the location of your choice.

X-rays are completed on site, and the results will be available immediately, which makes the diagnosis process faster. In some cases, the provider who sees you might request an expedited appointment for you to see an orthopedic surgeon at an OAL location that is most convenient for you.

We accept most insurance plans, and a specialty co-pay is required at the time of your visit.

The following will NOT be treated at Urgent Care at OAL:

Presciption refills

Individuals bleeding from an injury or an injury resulting from a burn or animal bite. Please proceed directly to a hospital emergency room or contact your current treating physician's office for guidance.

Individuals currently being treated by another orthopedic surgeon for the injury in question. Please contact our office and we would be happy to schedule a second opinion appointment with one of our surgeons.

Patients who need to address problems with a cast or surgical dress are encouraged to contact their treating physician for those issues.
