William L. Cheek, Jr., MS, PT

As Director of Rehabilitation Services, Bill has worked as a therapist for 11 years focusing on outpatient and sports medicine. He joined OAL in 2000 and works closely with the physicians and entire rehabilitation services staff to tailor treatment options based on patient needs. He also has treated a range of athletes including high school, college and professional, including the Lancaster Barnstormers.

Bill enjoys spending time with his wife and two children as well as golf, fishing, and vacationing in Ocean City, MD.

A. Shawn Brown, MS, PT

Shawn is the Clinical Director of Willow Street Therapy and has been in outpatient physical therapy and sports medicine for over 10 years. For the past 8 years, he has been with OAL, working with the physicians to treat and care for patients. Shawn is currently working towards his manual certification for spine and joint mobilization.

When he is not helping others get back to their game, he enjoys basketball, golf, and spending time with his wife and three children.

John P. Shea, MPT, COMT

John has over 9 years working in physical therapy. He started with OAL in 2008. His past experience includes working with professional athletes in baseball, basketball and lacrosse.

Originally from the Wilkes-Barre area, he now lives outside of Philadelphia. He spends his leisure time rooting for the Eagles and Phillies. John is married and has one son, J.R.

Scott Smith, MS, PT

Scott has worked with both inpatient and outpatient clients for the past 25 years initially specializing in wound care management. Since joining OAL, in 2008, he focuses on geriatric and orthopedic diagnoses.

Scott and his wife, Wendy, enjoy traveling to such places at Stowe, VT, St. Lucia and the Outer Banks. He has a chow-lab mix and grows Bonsai trees in his free time.

Lynda G. Baker, DPT

Lynda brings extensive knowledge to our team at OAL with over six years experience. She joined the OAL team in 2009 with a special focus on orthopedic and work-related spine injuries. She is a Certified Ergonomic Specialist.

Lynda is actively involved with the worship team and choir at her church. She also enjoys mountain biking, hiking and spending time with her children.

Melissa A. Swope, MS, PT

Melissa joined the OAL team in 2010 with clinical background experience in orthopedics, neurological rehabilitation and acute care.

Melissa and her husband actively volunteer in the community. Each year they also travel to Haiti to work at a orphanage. She also enjoys ballet and ballroom dancing.
