If you have questions about your orthopedic condition or care, please call the office during regular hours and ask for your doctor’s secretary. It is difficult for our doctors to leave a scheduled office patient to come to the phone and it is impossible to do this during surgery. Therefore, we have trained our staff to communicate patient concerns to our doctors throughout the day to get these problems resolved in a timely fashion.

After hours, if the question or problem needs to be addressed urgently, please call the office number and follow the instructions to reach our answering service, which will contact the OAL physician on call.

If you develop what you think is a serious medical problem, such as chest pain or shortness of breath, call 911.

Should you or your family become injured and require a visit to the emergency room, please notify the nurse or physician that, if appropriate, you would like the services of Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster. This will ensure that our physicians will manage your care.

Our regular office hours are:
Monday thru Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Our Physical Therapy office hours are:
Monday and Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Tuesday: 7:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 12 noon
Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.

EMERGENCIES

One of our physicians is available twenty-four hours a day to handle emergencies. Should you have a problem that you consider to be an emergency during office hours, Monday through Friday, 8a.m. to 5 p.m., please call the office number, (717) 299-4871. 

If an emergency should occur AFTER regular business hours, please call the office number and follow the instructions to reach our answering service. The answering service will contact the physician on call. 

In emergencies resulting in a visit to the emergency room, please notify the nurse or physician that you would prefer services from Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster to ensure that our physicians manage your care.

INSURANCE & BILLING

Orthopedic Associates’ business office is open Monday through Friday,
8a.m.–5p.m., to provide you with the most recent information concerning billing,
as well as answers to any questions you may have. To contact the business office,

OAL participates with most insurance providers. Please call the business office to check the most recent list of participating insurance providers, as this list may change frequently.

If OAL doesn’t participate in your health plan, payment is expected at the time our services are provided. If you have questions about coverage or billing, call 717-299-1928.
